It’s time to see real-life siblings, Shraddha and Siddhant Kapoor, perform as reel-life siblings in their forthcoming film, Haseena Parkar. The film is a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim's sister and while Shraddha plays the title role, her brother plays the underworld don in the film.
The film's promotions are due to start soon and Shraddha has made it clear that she won’t promote the film without her brother. A report in DNA quotes her as saying: “Promote karna toh hai saath mein.”
According to the report, Shraddha has also insisted that Siddhanth get top billing along with her in the credit titles. While Shraddha has already achieved success as an actress, she sees Haseena Parkar as her brother’s big chance in Bollywood.
“Shraddha will be accompanied by Siddhant at all the events promoting Haseena Parkar. Throughout the film, she was guiding his performance, staying on the sets even when he was shooting solo to offer support. She would rehearse their scenes together for hours and ensure that he gets enough opportunity to be effective on camera. The actress is determined to see her brother make it big with this film, even if she has to take the backseat,” said the report.
It's the season of sibling love clearly. And as the protective sister, Shraddha seems to be emulating Salman Khan, who has also said that he won't promote Tubelight without his brother, Sohail Khan. Clearly, both stars want their siblings to grab the limelight.
